What will be covered in the Sound Engineering Course?
In the sound engineering course you will learn how to set up and record real live instruments including drums, acoustic and electric guitars, vocals etc. Setting up and recording a real drum kit is probably one of the biggest challenges for any audio engineer, no matter how experienced they are, as every drum kit set up is different, in terms of physical positioning. The positioning of each drum is dictated by the drummer themselves, so they feel comfortable with the layout and they will ultimately be able to give you their best musical performance. Correct choice and positioning of microphones is critical in order to get the best sound from not only drums but any live instrument, and this is one of many elements covered on this course.
