Description

This comprehensive course leads to a HSE approved FAAW certificate which is valid for three years. The course covers both practical and theory training and complies with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

  • Injuries to bone, muscles and joints

  • Priorities of first aid

By the end of the training session delegates will be able to: *Use first aid equipment *Understand employer duties and legislation *Maintain first aid records *Recognise the importance of personal hygiene *Act safely, promptly and effectively during emergencies at work.

Entry Requirements

This course is designed for employees who must obtain a First Aid at Work certificate and become designated First Aiders in their workplace.

Delivery & Assessment methods

The course is assessed via practical exam. If successful (delegates must attend all four days of training) the delegate will receive a First Aid at Work certificate, which is valid for three years. Course Length: Minimum of 24 hours.
