The candidates will be trained and assessed in the following practical skills:
- Incident management
- Resuscitation
- Shock
- Respiratory emergencies
- Heart attacks
- Bleeding
- Unconsciousness
- Seizures
- First aid box and legislation
- Fractures, spinal injuries
- Burns and scalds
- Eye injuries
- Poisoning
- Record keeping
- Hygiene in first aid
End Qualification:
All persons who achieve the award will receive a First Aid at Work Certificate which lasts 3 years.
Entry Requirements:
No interview required
There are no entry requirements.
Assessment:
The candidates undertake a practical assessment on the final day.
