This L3 Certificate course is designed for AS students who have done badly in one of their AS subjects and are looking to top up their UCAS point options.

3 Units: Anatomy for Sport Exercise Physiology Sport Psychology

  • Anatomy for Sport: Learn about the body systems and how they function
  • Exercise Physiology - learn how the body operates, the energy systems and their links to exercise

Entry Requirements

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English OR Mathematics (or equivalent), or BTEC Level 2 Diploma with Merit grade in Sport, or another Level 2 sport qualification. Students with a Pass grade will be considered subject to an additional assessment and/or supporting reference. (GCSE Science and PE are also preferred).

Progression

Following on from completion of this course, learners can progress to the L3 Subsidiary Diploma in sport or maybe even become full-time sport students in their second year (subject to approval & references)
