Awarding Body Edexcel Course Details You will study the following

and English. Students will be expected to purchase and wear the
sports kit in all course practical sessions. A Course For This
course is designed for people who would like to develop a career in
the Sports/Leisure Industry or progress on to Sports courses at
University such as Exercise Physiology, Sport Injury, Sport
Marketing, Sport Psychology etc. Entry Requirements Four GCSEs at
grade C or above, one of which must be English, or Sport BTEC Level
2 with an average grade of ‘merit’ or equivalent plus English at
Level 2. Assessment Units are continually assessed through the
completion of written assignments, practical sports observation and
presentations. Functional skills are also included on the programme
and are assessed externally. Learning Outcome Depending upon the
number of units completed, the student can achieve either: Level 3
Certificate in Sport (Performance & Excellence) Level 3
Subsidiary Diploma in Sport (Performance & Excellence) Level 3
Diploma in Sport (Performance & Excellence) or the full
qualification: Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport (Performance
& Excellence).
