Description

This course will help you build the skills you need to work in today’s modern musical theatre industries. The main focus of the course is practical performance. You will study acting, techniques, dance and singing. You will gain plenty of ‘real life’ experience in front of audiences in many different styles and situations and build up your confidence on stage and as a communicator.

Course content

Working on songs dance and full scale productions. The course is taught in a workshop style with dance and technique sessions

  • Tap and jazz dance
  • Acting techniques
  • Musical theatre performance

Entry Requirements

Four GCSEs at grade D or above or a First Diploma. You will be asked to interview and audition. Post 19s are welcome to audition but may have to pay course fees, depending on income.

Progression

You can progress on to higher education or employment with this qualification.
