- CGLI 6129 Technical Certificate or/and CGLI 6084 NVQ level 3 in Plumbing

Admission onto this programme is via successful interview and initial assessment. Plumbing apprenticeships are heavily based on the development of both academic achievement and practical skills.
Delivery & Assessment methods
The NVQ pathway requires employment within the plumbing sector. The programme will be delivered and assessed within the college and the workplace. Achievement will be dependent on successful completion of practical qualifying task assessment and knowledge examinations. The programme will be delivered by assessments made at work and at college (full-time or part-time day release). The functional skill elements are a combination of course work and on-line assessments and are assessed at college. The ERR is covered during the NVQ and induction. Course Length: 24 - 36 months depending on pathway.
Progression
A plumbing craft person is required to frequently up-date their vocational skills and develop an in-depth knowledge in all aspects of the sector including gas.
