The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification gives you practical, internationally recognised finance and accounting skills which can open doors for you in any industry across the world.

You will study the AAT on a part time basis, two nights per week, with occasional extra sessions for study support or examinations.

This is an extremely demanding course and we will require you to attend all sessions. You will also be required to complete regular homework and a significant amount of self study outside the classroom.

Entry Requirements

To enrol on this course you must have successfully completed the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and ideally work in an accounting environment.

Delivery & Assessment methods

Assessment is via a series of computer based examinations plus a 4,000 word professional report.

Progression

The Level 4 Diploma in Accounting is a qualification in its own right. Once it has been completed, and after a period of working in an accounting environment, you can apply for full professional membership of the AAT. Successful candidates will find that the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting will help their job prospects and career opportunities. The Level 3 Diploma in Accounting is worth 160 UCAS points and can assist successful candidates in gaining a place at university. Some universities will grant further exemptions to applicants holding the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting.
