This is a one year course that prepares students for university courses in science based subjects. The Ascentis based course is approved by QAA.

Entry Requirements
Level 2 English and Mathematics, successful completion of comprehension paper.
Progression
Students progress onto science related degrees and university courses requiring a high science content. Past students have progressed onto zoology, marine biology and biomedical science amongst others.
