Those wanting a basic grounding in the three Sciences – Physics, Biology, Chemistry. Students already with a D grade GCSE Science. Aspiring PGCE / Teachers who need a level 2 Science qualification as a course requirement.
Course Content
The course covers Level 2 Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Assessment Method
Two one hour examinations (Unit 1 and Unit 2) available in January and June, coursework: Unit 3 ‘Can do task’ and ‘Science in the News’.
Progression
Level 3 qualifications such as BTEC. Access to PGCE course.
