A Level Government and Politics
This subject aims to develop an understanding of how the UK government works and how people can participate in the political process through organisations such as pressure groups and political parties. The second year will examine different political ideologies including liberalism, socialism, conservatism and anarchism.
Course content
There are four units of study. You will study two of these in the first year for AS assessment and the remaining two in the second year for a full GCSE A Level.
