Advanced Apprenticeship in Floristry
This course enables young people to gain experience in the industry, whilst gaining further qualifications to improve floristry skills and knowledge. This will allow you to work towards management within a floristry shop or other associated businesses.
Entry RequirementsIt is essential that your Initial Assessment results should show that you are working at Level 1. You should also have the following:
- GCSEs at grades A-C in English and Maths would be an advantage

- Coaching, training and assessing individuals and teams
- Customer service
- Ordering stock
- Payments
- Sales
Functional Skills
You will also gain nationally recognised Functional Skills qualifications (English, Maths and ICT).
What Next?Students may wish to progress to Level 4 Higher Diploma in Floristry. Alternatively successful students might work within the industry as a qualified florist, either in their own, or an already established floristry shop.
