Who is this course for? A student who wishes to study full-time to progress to university courses having recently achieved a range of GCSE and AS qualifications. What qualifications or experience do I need ? 2 AS Level at grades A-D including this subject. Grade E will be considered on an individual basis. GCSE English grade B or above GCSE English Literature grade B or above if taken What will I study ? A2 English Literature specification - 9180 Examining Board - EDEXCEL Unit 3 - Reading for Meaning Unit 4 - Extended Essay and Shakespeare Study (40% coursework) How will I be assessed ? Assessment will be through: * examination * coursework according to the specification of the awarding Examining Board. What qualifications could I achieve ? On successful completion of this subject the candidate will gain an A Level certificate in English Literature. What can the course lead to ? On successful completion of this course you may progress to a university course of your choosing according to the subjects and grades that you have achieved. How do I join the course ? You must complete a full-time application form and make an appointment for an interview with a tutor. References will be required from your previous educational establishment.
