Description

This course consists of the following:

  • Speaking and listening effectively
  • How to use standard English
  • How to develop reading and writing skills
  • Responding to literature and non-fiction texts drawn from English and other cultures
The syllabus is aimed to develop the student's abilities.

All students must sit an assessment test and have ONE of the following:

  • English Language GCSE Grade D or above
  • Adult Literacy Level 2

Certificates of previous qualifications are required

Students who have achieved below these grades are advised to study Adult Literacy level 1/2
