Who is this course for? A student who wishes to study full-time to progress to university courses having recently achieved a range of GCSE and AS qualifications. Assessment will be through: *examination *coursework (Unit 6) According to the EDEXCEL specification. What qualifications could I achieve ? On successful completion of this subject, the candidate will gain an A Level certificate in Chemistry. What can the course lead to ? On successful completion of this course, you may progress to a University course of your choosing according to the subjects and grades that you have achieved. How do I join the course ? You must complete a full-time application form and make an appointment for an interview with a tutor. References will be required from your previous educational establishment. Will I need an interview ? Yes, before you can enrol. Are there any extra costs for equipment/materials ? Yes, students must obtain a copy of the class textbook, a simple scientific calculator and a labcoat to protect themselves and their clothes during practical work.
