Certificate in Cosmetic Make-Up - Level 2

Introduction

This recognised qualification will equip you with the skills required to work as a make-up artist within a salon or department store. Along with practical aspects, the course covers the Health and Safety Diploma. You may also study other part-time qualifications in order to build a portfolio of treatments.

What Will I Learn

You will develop the skills necessary to work in the make up industry especially in a commercial environment.

How Will I Be Assessed?

You will be continually assessed in the form of written assignments, tests and worksheets. Practical assessments will be carried out on clients.

You will need to show a genuine interest in the course and attend an informal interview to ensure your suitability for the programme.

You will be required to purchase the following: Cosmetic make up kit - approximately £130.00, Uniform tunic - approximately £25.00, Text book - approximately £20.00| The start date of this course will be 18 September and the start time is 6pm

Progression

You will be able to progress to a full-time Beauty course.
