Level: Level 3
The EPQ is a stand-alone qualification and complements an A Level study programme. It is equivalent in size to an AS and equivalent in standard to an A2 qualification. The EPQ allows students to develop an initial idea for a project they may wish to carry out and discuss their ideas with their supervisor.
The EPQ places great emphasis on students becoming independent learners. You must have the desire and drive to take an idea and develop it in to a project. We expect students to be committed and passionate about their choice.
The project requires students to:
- Devise, design and plan the project
- Research, critically select, organise and use information
