Certificate - Self Designed

Designing your own certificate has some major advantages, including being able to tailor your education to what you need, avoiding subjects which are less relevant, and studying towards an advantage over your competition in business or work.

A self designed Advanced Certificate needs to contain four modules. You can choose any four modules from those available as long as the combination makes sense and is approved by one of the College\'s academic staff. This combination can even include one or two modules outside of our agriculture list, provided that they are relevant to the broad area of study.

To enrol in a self designed certificate, you must first determine at least the first three subjects you will take. This is usually done by and discussing this with an academic staff member (by email, letter or phone). Once your subjects have been determined and approved, you can do any of the following to enrol:

1. select the modules you want and them to the shopping cart to enrol
2. create a student account online (you will be prompted to do this when you click on the shopping cart)
3. make payment for the modules you have chosen

You have the opportunity to pay for each module as you go along.
