Assessment Method
There are no formal examinations at the end of modules but each module will be assessed by assignments. Four module assignments are set by the CIOB. The assignments can be completed either on an individual basis or working in groups depending on the module studied.
Progression
Subject to successful completion of four units the Certificate will be awarded and you will be able to apply to become an Associate Member of the CIOB. Study in a further eight units will allow a Diploma to be awarded, and you will be eligible to apply to become an Incorporated Member of the CIOB.
Additional Information
All candidates must attend for a minimum of 80% for each module otherwise the module will not be accredited. A course registration fee is payable to the CIOB as well as the tuition fee payable to the College. Please note that this course will be delivered at the Construction Skills Centre, Sandon Road, Grantham.
Entry Requirements
Minimum of two years working in the Construction Industry on site, above the level of charge hand with some general responsibility or two years running your own business or successful completion of The Diploma in Site Supervisory Studies. Acceptance on the course is subject to interview.
