Our Digital Film Production degree is a practice based, vocationally focused course designed to develop your production skills in screenwriting and video drama production in the context of a conventional industry model.
Underpinned and driven by storytelling, on set practice and employability skills, students learn through hands on experience guided by staff, professional film makers and experienced practitioners.

Students also consider real world issues such as audience needs and effective team working whilst engaged on production activity that emulates professional practices. This may include working with actors or pitching project ideas to a panel of tutors and filmmakers. Students regularly have the opportunity to contribute to production based staff research projects and multi-camera live event filming. Students can also engage with relevant contemporary practice through annual attendance at the ‘Encounters’ short film festival.
