Description
BA (Hons) Youth & Community Work offers you the opportunity for personal and professional development in this sector in which you will already have some working experience.A number of work placements are a key component of the course and this on-the-job training, combined with your classroom-based learning, will build your knowledge and understanding of both the principles and practice of youth and community work. This will include consideration of broad issues such as welfare, social policy, human relations and regeneration, and more specific concerns including the role of the youth worker, managing youth work and multi-agency working.
