The degree is based upon a notion of widening participation, and will give those without academic experience an opportunity to develop study skills. Students will be well supported by dedicated tutors, and the practice trainer who is able to help students develop competency in the workplace. Full-time students will normally study two modules per term which will be related to health and social care, during which time a variety of academic and work based skills will be developed.
