This course is for professionals who work in the health, social care and community sectors.You will study the diversity of communities in Britain today and the changing nature of ethnicity, including debates about identities as they relate to the idea of Englishness, Irishness, Scottishness and Welshness. You will analyse associated issues of race and ethnicity, their impact on health and social care and how the needs of specific ethnic groups are being addressed.
