Palliative Care Training CoursesOverview This palliative care course is for candidates working within caring role for those who have a life-limiting illness, enabling them to undertake the carer’s role with confidence applying understanding of palliative care, providing dignity, comfort and empathy. Outline of Programme The palliative care course covers: What is meant by the term ‘Palliative Care’ Ensuring Comfort, Dignity & Empathy Supportive care for all those involved Dealing with ‘Death’ and its effects including the grieving process Complimentary Therapies Assessment: The palliative care course is delivered in 2 hours and Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn along with interaction of group activities. SPECIAL OFFER- If three, two hour care sector courses are run on the same day at the same venue the third course is free of charge. This could be three of the same courses or a combination of three different ones. Important information The training venue should be quiet and undisturbed.
