2D Computer Aided Design

The aims of this Computer Aided Design (CAD) course is to teach new CAD users the skills required to understand and use AutoCAD effectively in a CAD office environment and to reach a nationally recognized standard. This is a 2D foundation course using the Industry Standard CAD package, AutoCAD. It is a Level 2 Intermediate award.

Who can attend the course?

• This course is for beginners who have a keen interest in learning Computer Aided Design. The course is 60 hours taught on a flexible learning basis.

Can I gain a qualification?

City and Guilds 7579-02 Computer Aided Design can be taken as an option at end of course. To achieve the C&G qualification you will need to take two drawing practical exams and one multiple choice question paper

Where does the course take place?

The course takes place at Total People’s state-of-the-art engineering training centre within South Cheshire College in Crewe during the day time.

• Either delivered on a full or part time basis
• A total of 90 study hours
