Nurturing Arts with Helena

The Summer term of Nurturing Arts will concentrate upon the essence of artistic group work, focusing upon such themes asthe creative application of stories – legends, myths or fairy tales. In this course work participants will engage in a variety of artistic processes that will seek to bring balance and strength to one’s inner life through; Conte, charcoal, drawing, singing, creative writing and wet-on-wet water colour painting. Exploring the Language of Form in Clay Modeling and Soap Stone with Maria Albiez To continue to learn the language of form and explore abstract and non-representational shapes. We will move onto three dimensional forms in the round and finally work our way towards a chance to experience carving soap stone.
