Description

Level: Level 3

This course delivers a dynamic introduction to photography techniques and processes. You will experience both Digital and Wet Room photography, Studio Lighting, Photoshop, Camera Techniques, Composition, Presentation and Printing. You will also research both Historical and Contemporary Photography to support your studies.

The photography section offers the opportunity to work with wet photography, in the darkroom, although most camera work is digital. Opportunities are offered by local employers to undertake external projects and we encourage students to submit work to regional competitions.

Sessions consist of practical investigation and development, and we expect additional written work to support your outcomes.
