Full-Time courses for 16-18 School Leavers are Free.

If you are aged between 19 and 23 and don’t already hold a qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, tuition fees will be waived. If you meet the Eligible Benefit criteria, tuition fees will be waived. (Registration Fees will still apply).
Course Content: Throughout this course you will develop a range of skills and knowledge in Beauty Therapy, preparing you for a rewarding career in helping people to look and feel good. You will complete practical and theory work in all of the following areas;

Manicure; Pedicure; Makeup; Waxing; Facial; Lash and Brow; Reception, consultation; working with others, create a hair and beauty image. Health and Safety. You will learn each of these areas through practical work experience in our commercial Beauty Salons, situated on-site and open to the public, giving you an insight into the exciting and satisfying career path you have chosen.

Entry Qualification: Learners will be accepted onto the programme after a successful interview. Potential learners should have a good general education and preferably four GCSE grade D or above, one of which must be English, or level 1 in Beauty Therapy with the relevant level 1 Functional skill qualification. Learners should also possess the following qualities:

Special Features: Your skills will be assessed in a work based environment. Relevant theoretical knowledge is an integral part of each unit and is assessed by on line exams. Progression: Once you have completed this course, a variety of options will be available to you. You may gain employment in beauty salons in a variety of locations and environments including Health Farms; Cruise Liners; Mobile Therapy or progression onto Holistic Therapies
