Course aims and objectives
This course will review the main aspects of the capital allowances legislation following the extensive changes introduced by FA 2007 and FA 2008. The revised provisions for cars in FA 2009 will be covered in detail, along with the significant amendments announced in 2011 and 2012.

• The replacement allowance
• Low CO2 emission cars and refuelling equipment
• Enhanced capital allowances for energy-efficient and water saving technologies
• Introduction of first year tax credits
