FdSc Health and Social Care (Full Time)
Starting dates and places
Description
The programme consists of a combination of core and option units at academic Levels 4 and 5 (Year 1 and 2) and can be undertaken in full or on a 'unit by unit' basis. The options focus on specific clinical areas of work relevant to each student and are largely delivered and assessed within each individual Trust’s setting.
In each year of the two-year programme, there is a work-based learning unit (a core unit) which runs throughout the year and includes the assessment of the students’ competence to safely perform their role against agreed occupational standards for the clinical area they work in.
