Introduction
This course is open to those who wish to further their career in canine grooming and is an ideal stepping stone to the City & Guilds 7763-03 Level 3 Diploma for Professional Dog Grooming Stylists.  There will be no more than three students on a course to ensure the very best tuition.  You will receive practical tuition on one or two dogs during the day and study theory in your own time/class time with the assistance of a comprehensive theory study workbook specifically designed by Chantel to compliment the qualification requirements

Subjects you will study:
You will gain experience, in how to identify the breed and coat type which will benefit from being hand-stripped rather than clipped, and you will have the opportunity to learn and perfect this simple technique.

Please Note: Dogs need to be ready to be hand-stripped, we cant simply strip dogs that are not ready. Some students will benefit from this, some will miss out, when we get the right dogs in as per owners requirements
Dog grooming is a specialised industry which has different needs when considering such things as insurance, advertising, location, equipment etc. Your theory coursework will help you to make decisions and to save money in start-up costs.
  Beyond the skills of grooming you will gain experience in client relations and will receive a detailed information file which will assist you to get your business up and running.

Entry Requirements for the student: none

This course is very popular and extremely suitable for beginners or those with little experience who wish to enrol directly onto a Level 3 course.  During your 30 days you will cover all the theory and practical of a Level 2 course and then immediately progress onto the Level 3 Certificate in Introductory theory and practical content.  It is ideal for those who wish to Fast Track through the qualifications and start up their own dog grooming business  or secure a job as a stylist.
