Japanese Beginners Phase 1

This is a course for complete beginners who have never learnt the language before. You will develop basic communicative skills in everyday contexts. The main focus of the course is on speaking and listening skills but you will also get practice in reading and writing.

You will learn how to socialise, ask simple questions, make hotel reservations, order food and drinks and use numbers in various contexts (price, quantity, time). You will have access to specialised websites and the chance to use the language in real life situations. You will also be given the opportunity to develop your language skills according to your own specific needs.

You will begin to develop proficiency and confidence using the language. Some students choose to take qualifications.

There are no formal entry requirements as the course is for complete beginners.
