To achieve the full Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching
& Learning in Schools you must successfully complete 30 credits
comprised from the following: 9 Mandatory units (24 credits).

To achieve the full Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching
& Learning in Schools you must successfully complete 30 credits
comprised from the following: 9 Mandatory units (24 credits).

responsibilities for a pupil, subject area or age group. Entry
Criteria You must have a work placement or employment in a school
setting working with children aged 0-19 years for a minimum of 9
hours per week. Evidence of a current DBS check. Good level of
literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. Assessment Students are required
to compile a portfolio of evidence which includes; workplace
observations, assignments, projects and reflective accounts.
Learning Outcome Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching &
Learning in Schools. Progression after Programme Level 3 Diploma
in Specialist Support for Teaching & Learning in Schools.
Additional Information Students must organise their own work
placement and police clearance before being accepted onto the
course. Due to the level of workplace observation required there
will be a minimum number of workplace hours required. All students
will be required to attend an interview and will complete an
initial assessment for literacy and numeracy prior to being
accepted on the programme.
