Level 3 Construction & the Built Environment - Construction, Civil Engineering or Building Services BTEC National Subsidiary Diploma

This course consists of the following:

Semester 1:

• Surveying processes
• Construction and the environment
• Graphical detailing

Semester 2:

• ICT and CAD
• Building technology
• Analytical methods

Semester 3:

• Construction science and materials
• Health, safety and welfare
• Construction technology and design

Semester 4:

• Building surveying
• Measurement tendering and estimating processes
• Planning, organising and control of resources
• Integrative vocational assignment

All students must pass an initial assessment activity in literacy and numeracy as part of the interview and have ONE from the following:

• 4 GCSEs (3 at grades A*-D and 1 at grade A*-E) including English and Maths
• Level 1 Diploma in a construction discipline, plus GCSE English and Maths (1 at grade A*-D and 1 at grade A*-E)
• Equivalent qualifications

Adults 19+ who have industry experience but do not have the necessary qualifications are welcome to apply.
