Functional skills in Maths and English will also be included in the programme. Work experience and employability forms part of the programme. A Course For Prospective students who want to: Pursue a career in the child care sector. Learn how to care for a young child in the home. Entry Requirements All applicants must display a genuine interest in working in the child care sector. The programme welcomes learners from a variety of educational experiences and backgrounds. Applicants need to show evidence of formal qualifications. Assessment Units will be assessed through practical tasks, action plans and written tasks.
