Accounting Diploma Level 3 (Intermediate Stage) Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Awarding Body: AAT Course Details The course covers: Accounts preparation. Professional ethics. Costing. Spreadsheets. Cash management. Indirect tax. A Course for Trainee Accountancy Technicians and those individuals who have an interest in pursuing a career in accountancy. Entry Requirements Learners are required to have either an AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or have experience of working in an accounting environment. Students are required to register with the Association. Students who do not have a sound understanding of Double Entry Principles, Control Accounts and Bank Reconciliations are advised to start at the AAT Level 2 Accounting Certificate. Assessment There are seven computer based assessments. Learning Outcome The AAT is recognised throughout the business world as a credible and established professional body. It is a qualification that accurately reflects competence in the work place and continues to bear the hallmarks of quality and high standards. Progression after Programme On successful completion of the AAT Accounting Diploma students may progress to the AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting.
