AAT Diploma in Accounting Level 4

This final level is very highly sought after and the AAT suggest it can make a difference of up to 30% on salaries when compared with non AAT members.The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is the UK's leading qualification and membership body for accounting staff and provides the only fast-track non-graduate route into chartered accountancy.

Kingston Maurward is an approved Centre for the delivery of AAT courses, and the level 4 AAT Diploma is the final level of this sought after qualification.

Candidates will also be expected to undertake additional work outside class times.

Some of the work is project based.

Course fees comprise tuition fees and computer based assessment fees (registration/exam) for each of the 6 units, payable to the college, plus AAT membership fees payable directly to them.

Text books, with a question banks, are also available for purchase from the college or from bookshops.

Entry Requirements

Applicants need to have spoken to one of the course tutors BEFORE booking onto this course.

Knowledge of double entry book-keeping and accounts qualifications at level 3 or above are desirable.

However, students who have prior accounts experience may be accepted at the discretion of the course tutor, and upon successful completion of a short test.

What Next?

The AAT provides a fast-track non-graduate route into other professional accountancy bodies. In some cases there will be exemptions from further exams.
