Field trips and Study tours are major components of the course. A Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma is an excellent alternative to A-levels for those students who wish to pursue a career in the Built Environment professions.
Assessment Methods
Assessment is continuous and based on work realistic projects. Typical projects include the design of a luxury bungalow and the development proposals and designs for a variety of developments. Computer technology is integrated throughout the course e.g. Computer Aided Design.
