Is this course for me?

The Level 3 in Site Carpentry is designed to further the skills and knowledge of people enabling them to work to an advanced level in industry in their chosen craft. It has been specifically developed for delivery in a training environment using simulated conditions and assessment is based on the candidate showing what they can do as an individual through the completion of all the requirements of the qualification.

What qualifications or skills do I require to study this course?

Level 2 passed at merit or distinction. Enrolment is subject to a successful interview.

What does the course involve?

This course is designed to equip you with the advanced skills required for employment within site carpentry and the construction industry. You will have the opportunity to study:

• Building methods and construction technology
• Setting up and using fixed and transportable machinery
• Erecting complex structural carcassing components
• Maintaining non-structural and structural components

What option will be open to me if I successfully complete the course? Upon successful completion of this course you can seek employment as a Bench Joiner or Junior Site Manager.
