Who is this course for? This course is for adults who would like to improve their literacy skills for work, home or further study. You must enrol fully to have a place in the class. What qualifications or experience do I need ? You do not need qualifications to start this course. Your reading, writing and speaking should all be very nearly at the level of the course. To find out your reading and writing level we will give you an assessment, and to find out your speaking and listening level we will have a discussion about literacy with you. What will I study ? E2, E3: Assignments in class. What qualifications could I achieve ? City & Guilds 3792 Certificate in Adult Literacy E2, E3. What can the course lead to ? Students who successfully complete this course can progress to the next level, to a full time literacy and numeracy course, a vocational course or employment. How do I join the course ? At the start of the year, attend an advertised enrolment session. You must enrol fully to have a place in the class. If starting later phone Course Information on 020 8266 4000. Will I need an interview ? You will have a personal interview to assess your skills and you will receive advice about suitable classes. This may take up to 2 hours.
