This product does not have fixed starting dates and/or places.
Description
This course is suitable for students who are capable of working at SCQF levels 3-4.
This course is for students who have completed the Preparation for Work/Further Study Programme, or who have demonstrated appropriate work ready skills while attending the College School Links Programme.
Applicants will be asked to select a first and second choice from one of the following five vocational qualifications:
- SVQ 1 Bakery
- SVQ 1 Horticulture
- SVQ 1 Retail
- C&G Certificate Hairdressing
- C&G Certificate Hospitality
Each vocational qualification is complemented by external work experience placements.

PROGRESSION ROUTES / CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
On successful completion, students may progress to a non-advanced College course, employment, or supported employment.
