Description
This course has been designed to provide basic training in construction skills for those seeking employment or knowledge of construction craft skills and consists of the following:
- Plumbing
- Brickwork
- Carpentry/joinery
- Painting & decorating
- Wall & floor tiling
- Plastering
This course is suitable for students who have no prior knowledge or experience of construction craft skills.
All students must have completed either:
- Entry Level Foundation Learning C & G 6218 Certificate
- Level 1 My Career Builder (construction)
AND have ALL of the following:
- 3 GCSEs or equivalent
- A satisfactory interview
- Successful assessment activities including literacy and numeracy
