Description
The National Certificate in Computer Arts and Animation at SCQF level 6 deepens and further enhances the skills and theory the students may already have. Essentially the level 6 award is more project based, thus providing the students with opportunities to adopt a more hands on approach to their learning. This is achieved through the implementation of contextualised tasks based on industry examples and will allow students to develop their analytical, planning and time management skills.

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
The course is aimed primarily at school leavers and adults returning to education. It will be appropriate for those who have an interest and desire to further their knowledge and enhance their skills in all aspects of computer arts and animation.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
Assessment is undertaken on a continuous basis throughout the course.
PROGRESSION ROUTES / CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Students may progress to relevant advanced level courses, for example in Visual Communication or 3D Computer Animation.
