The events industry is dynamic, exciting, diverse in scope and operates within public, private and voluntary sectors. It can include conferences, conventions, exhibitions, shows, festivals, sports matches, product launches, weddings and parties all held in a variety of venues

This course has been designed to develop a range of skills and an understanding and appreciation of the events industry. Live projects and case studies are used by the course team along with visits to meet industry.

All of the tutors have excellent in-depth knowledge from working in the hospitality industry

Students will need between 120 & 240 UCAS points from:

  • BTEC Diploma or Extended Diploma
  • At least 2 'A' Levels at 'A2' or Applied GCE/AVCE Double Award
  • Advanced Diploma
  • International Baccalaureate

Applications from students with a relevant NVQ Level 3 are welcome.

Mature students with relevant experience and/or qualifications, including an Access to HE Diploma, are welcome to apply.
