Level 4 Construction & the Built Environment (Construction) HNC

This modular course is designed for people wanting employment in the building sector of the construction industry and related professions as technicians.

This course consists of the following:

• Design principles and application for construction and the built environment Level 4
• Group project in the construction industry Level 5
• Science and materials for construction and the built environment Level 4
• Health, safety and welfare for construction and the built environment level 4
• Technology of complex buildings Level 5
• Construction & maintenance of buildings Level 4
• Management principles and application Level 5
• Project management for construction and built environment Level 5

Students must have ONE of the following:

• At least two 'A' Levels at 'A2', with at least one in a related subject area
• BTEC Diploma or Extended Diploma in a related subject area
• Advanced Diploma with relevant Principal or Additional and Specialist Learning (ASL)
• A construction-related craft qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3
• International Baccalaureate
