Level 3 Networking or Software Development BTEC Extended Diploma

This is a two-year 18-unit vocational course which will help students to understand the role of the IT practitioner in the workplace and give students the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to undertake such a role.

Software Development:

• Event-driven programming
• Client-side customisation of web pages
• Computer systems
• E-commerce

Students must have ONE of the following:

• 4 GCSEs at grades A*-C, including English and Maths
• BTEC First Diploma for IT Practitioners at merit, plus GCSE English and Maths at grades A*-C
• Equivalent qualifications - Functional Skills may be accepted in place of GCSE Maths and/or English

Adults 19+ who have industry experience but do not have the necessary qualifications are welcome to apply.
