Description
This BTEC Extended Diploma is a Level 3, practical, work-related
course which provides a broad foundation in Computing studies and a
firm basis for specialism in Software Development. It will give
learners the knowledge, understanding and skills that they need to
prepare for employment and is equivalent to 3 A-levels and will
therefore attract UCAS points to enable entry to University.
The Extended Diploma is made up of 18 units: six core units plus 12
specialist units. The structure of the programme provides an
innovative and creative curriculum , covering core areas such as
