This course is taught for two years consisting of block release (15 weeks per year). There will be 2 blocks of study each year, one of 7 weeks, the other of 8.

Level 5 Diploma in Civil Engineering (HND)

Entry Requirements:

Interview required

Candidates should be employed in the civil engineering industry. All applicants must have GCSE English at grade C or above or equivalent and hold a level 3 qualification in Civil Engineering or in Construction (with further mathematics and structural mechanics units). Any other qualification deemed to be the equivalent of the above will also be acceptable. Mature candidates will be considered.

Assessment:

Progress is monitored through a process of continuous assessment.

Progression from this course:

The course will also enable the holder to progress to degree courses in civil engineering with advanced standing.
