This product does not have fixed starting dates and/or places.
This course consists of the following:
- Erecting masonry structures in the workplace
- Setting out masonry structures in the workplace
- Conforming to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace
- Conforming to productive working practices in the workplace
- Moving, handling and storing resources in the workplace
Plus one additional unit from the following:
- Laying domestic drainage in the workplace
- Erecting thin joint masonry structures in the workplace
- Placing and finishing non-specialist concrete in the workplace
- Plastering and rendering surface in the workplace
- Maintaining slate and tile roofing in the workplace
- Repairing and maintaining masonry structures in the workplace

All students must be employed in the industry and have ONE from the following:
- 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C, including English, Maths and Science
- Level 2 Bricklaying NVQ, plus GCSE English or Maths at grades A*-C
- Equivalent qualifications
Adults 19+ who have industry experience but do not have the
necessary qualifications are welcome to apply.
Employers must have liability insurance.
