Description
This is a new qualification for those that assess vocational qualifications in classrooms, workshops or simulated environments. This is similar to the A1 Assessors Award (now known as Assessing Competence in the Work Environment).
This course consists of the following units and is the direct replacement for the A1 Award:
- Unit 1: Understanding the principles & practices of assessment
- Unit 3: Assess vocational skills, knowledge & understanding
All students:
- Must be assessing a minimum of 2 learners undertaking an awarding organisation (QCF) accredited qualification
- Will need access to the learners' Internal Quality Assurer (IQA/IV)
- Must be aged 19+
